Honeywell Explosion-Proof XNX Universal Transmitter XNXGas Detector XNX-AMSE-NNNNN

XNX Universal Transmitter- for use with XNX Toxic & Oxygen Sensors

XNX Stainless Steel Transmitter ATEX/IEC for use with XNX Toxic and Oxygen Sensors

XNX-AMSE-NNNNN—XNX transmitter, HART over 4-20mA output, ATEX/IEC approved, 5 x M25 entries, painted 316 stainless steel, configured for XNX toxic and oxygen sensors.

XNX is an extremely flexible gas transmitter that can be configured to accept an input from any of the Honeywell Analytics ranXNX-AMAV-MNIC1—XNX Gas Detector, HART over 4-20mA and Modbus output, ATEX/IECEx/INMETRO, 4 x M25 entries, painted Aluminium, includes MPD IR CO2 sensor 0-5%V/Vge of gas sensor technologies.

A key feature is that it comes with HART over 4-20mA as standard. This enables users to have a single type of interface to all their gas detection needs, even when different types of detectors are employed.

Supports the widest range of sensors on a common platform and offers a modular choice of inputs and outputs (saving customers time and money).

Features & Benefits

  • Flammable gas detection 0 to 100% LFL/LEL
  • Flexible operation options
  • Minimal training required

Quick Specs

  • Material: LM25 aluminum, painted (SS316 painted optional)

Product Overview
XNX’s advantage comes from a simple-to-use, low-maintenance universal platform that works with other safety equipment on a digital bus system, including Honeywell Analytics’ own Searchline Excel, Optima or other gas detectors, industry standard PLCs and third-party gas monitoring controllers.

XNX supports Electrochemical, Infrared and Catalytic Bead gas monitors and uses standard 4-20mA wiring and HART; options include Modbus, Fieldbus (pending) up to three relays and a local Hart Adapter for configuration and diagnostics using existing HART handheld devices.

With 200+ unique configurations, XNX satisfies Class 1/Class 2 intrinsically safe, explosion-proof requirements in upstream/downstream oil, chemical, wastewater and other industries.

The enclosure is available in stainless steel or aluminum, with a marine-grade coating. Five threaded ports, available in metric or NPT versions, and ruggedized mounting options provide ultimate installation flexibility.
